Ripple Sends 200M XRP to Unknown Wallet While Price Holds $2

Crypto news today

In a latest move, Ripple has just moved 200 million XRP, worth around $402.78 million, to an unknown wallet.

Top blockchain tracker Whale Alert reported that this major transaction happened through the Ripple’s wallet “rBg2F…1o91m” to an unknown address “rP4X2…sKxv3”. Big moves like this often create speculation among investors.

Some think Ripple might be preparing for something big—possibly related to regulatory clarity or over-the-counter (OTC) trades. Others believe it could be for internal wallet management. Ripple hasn’t commented on the move yet.

The transfer also comes at a time when Ripple and the U.S. SEC have jointly asked the court to pause their ongoing case. This suggests that both sides might be working toward a smoother resolution after settling key issues in the lawsuit.

Adding to the excitement, the first XRP ETF launched successfully in the U.S. this week. The launch has boosted confidence in XRP, with more active addresses showing increased investor interest.

Regardless, XRP’s value is still firm at $2.02, having increased 1.29% within the last 24 hours. The market cap is around $117.73 billion, and trading volume in the past day is $3.85 billion. Interestingly, XRP’s price went as high as $2.03 and as low as $1.93 in the past 24 hours.

Crypto expert EGRAG CRYPTO believes XRP could rally big in the coming months. Based on past trends, he predicts XRP could rise to $19 or even $45, based on past market patterns. He explained that if XRP follows a similar path to its 2017 or 2021 performance, it could jump by 1,050% to reach $19 or by 2,700% to hit $45.

He added that if Bitcoin hits a new all-time high, XRP could reach $22 based on its chart.
