After a sudden surge earlier this week, Bitcoin price was trading strongly near $94k today only to later reject this level and is now falling in the $92k range. Furthermore, the Trump Coin has rallied more than 32% in the last 24 hours while most altcoins are in the red today.
The crypto market has been buoyed by Paul Atkins taking over as SEC chairman and the overall market sentiment has shifted to the bullish side this week. However, it seems that the optimism in the market has not been sustained as short-term investors look for exits.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin price is trading near $92,600 and the 24-hour trading volume is $36.36 billion. It has dropped by a decent 0.89%, falling from a daily high of $94,106 and hitting a low of $91,733 today.
Among the top altcoins, ETH is down by 3.58% to $1,751 while XRP and DOGE have seen a drop of nearly 5% in the last 24 hours. SOL, BNB, and ADA are also down by 2.5% as the overall altcoin segment witnessed massive selling.
Among the top gainers list, TRUMP leads the pack with a gain of 32% in the last 24 hours, followed by XCN with a jump of 16%. Meanwhile IMX and DEXE are leading the daily losers with a decline of 13% and 12%, respectively.
